Brad Scott from NZPI was kind enough to send me Series 1 of NZ Paranormal on DVD which was featured on Triangle T.V down here in New Zealand. I think I promised to do a post about the 2-Disc DVD and it majorly slipped my mind, that was like 3 or 4 months ago, Brad if your reading this, I'm so, so sorry.
I missed the run of NZ Paranormal on the tele down here, but I did see all episodes on Youtube which you can still view over at Brad's channel, but after watching the DVDs youtube just doesn't cut it, so if you'd like to enjoy this series to its fullest I'd suggest ordering it from Brad himself at a very reasonable price.
They're working on their second series through 2009 and I get the feeling it's going to be bigger and badder than the first series, so looking forward to it.
I know next to nothing about thermal cameras, last time I gained any knowledge whatsoever about them was while watching the movie Predator, so I can't really comment on the video below.
The video comes from the 'Garden State Ghost Hunters Society', filmed with a Thermal Imaging Camera and a regular camera in a non-disclosed location.
The thermal camera picks up what looks like a figure standing at the end of a hall, the team gets closer and it looks to have gone, the regular camera picks up nothing.
This ghost video was taken on the grounds of Croxteth Hall, Britain by CCTV, it shows a fuzzy figure that appears to be walking the grounds.
This video seems very similar in setup and appearance to the gas station ghost video and the gym ghost video, though it really is a lot more impressive.
There seems to be a trend when it comes to ghost videos making the mainstream media, they have to be from a security camera of some sort, the ghost has to appear blurry and there can't be any eyewitnesses.
I'm just going to through this one out there. The video was shot in Iraq while a ceremony was going on and shows what looks like a dancing light, full figured.
I don't even know if the title of this post is correct, researching the words got me all kinds of confused.
Thanks to dg1884 for pointing out this video. The video was shot by 12 year old Reece Pitman, while randomly filming his house with his mobile phone. It shows a shadowy figure moving across the view. Reported by The Sun.
I can't explain it, there does seem to be something going on with the bright lighting though and the figure looks pretty close to the camera to me.
Another interesting Ghost Video, 2 days in a row, woot.
From the P.I.T crew comes one of the most interesting ghost videos I've seen in a long time. The video shot from a stationary camera shows an apparition moving past it, it then comes back and we get to see what looks like the ghost of a cowboy.
The video is from an 8 night investigation the P.I.T crew did at an Industrial Facility.
I haven't done this before, but hopefully it works, below is a playlist of all the videos relating to the investigation, I haven't watched them all, but I will after I post this.
There doesn't seem to be any trickery going on in this video, just a bunch of dudes with a camera exploring a rundown old building. There are two instances where we get to see something ghostly which are pointed out pretty thoroughly in the video.
I found both hard to see without them being pointed out.
This is an innocent enough video, three people singing happy birthday while the mirror in the background captures a ghostly apparition and then suddenly falls to the ground.
I'd say if you wanted to fake this it would take a lot of patience and the right kind of software, lol, pretty obvious.
Not sure if this is an evil ghost girl, most of the headings I've seen describe it as such, so I'll follow along. Bugger all info that I can find about this video, but it is very creepy. I've seen some very obvious fakes quite similar to this video.
This footage by my best guess comes from Mexico and from the Tijuana based paranormal investigators Grupo Paranormal.
The video is pretty long as there's a lot of discussion going on and it ain't in English, but you can find it summarized by Javier Ortega over at Ghost Theory. The actual footage of the boy ghost is pretty short, but it is interesting and I'm not able to shrug it off as some kind of reflection, though that light and the night vision is a little worrying. It shows what looks like a boy peaking from behind television set.

Like the barn orb video this is a little old, but without a decent back story lets just enjoy.
As far as I can gather this was originally from a security camera from a Mexican museum, maybe not a ghost, more like some poltergeist activity. The video shows a gate open then two rotating gate thingies start spinning like crazy. Pretty cool really.
I don't think I've posted anything specifically about Orbs in a very long time, haven't posted much lately at all. I'm not really into Orbs, I have to much flash photography to lead me to think that Orbs are just as common as red-eye.
But videos can be a different story, there's more to analyze, but I still think Orbs on video is a pretty common occurrence.
The Orb video below is one of the better ones I've seen, but as always there's a few things that bother me. The video quality is shocking, in my experience when the video quality is bad there's more to be made-up about it, you can see things in the video noise that may not actually be there, you can also hide a lot in bad quality video.
As with a few recent ghost videos that have made it to mainstream news this one to me doesn't appear to be a bug or any kind of dust, it looks like a solid light.
So could it be an Orb or could it just be some pranksters flashlight.
Fake I say, but pretty effective, especially since I haven't seen anything spooky in almost a month. It shows a very vivid ghostly figure startled on a set of stairs in a castle? The only thing that I see that makes it ghostly is that it's faintly transparent, oh and some make-up.
Pretty cool camera tricks to, if that's what they are. It looks like most of the ghost portion of the video was shot by a stationary camera, but the camera zooms in, which would make the simple transparency trick a whole lot harder, but it looks to me that the zoom may have been achieved with software. You just use the software to pan, zoom, crop around the stationary footage which makes it look like the camera is doing all that stuff. Well I hope that's what has been done in this video, otherwise I'll just sound like a dick.
If anything I've realized a editing trick I hadn't thought of before.

This footage from the Ghost Hunter team has just been added to CNN's website, not sure why, maybe it's advertising it.
I'm actually quite confused why CNN has just put it up, I'm sure it's from an episode that aired months ago, Aura from Encounters with the Unexplained has a nice write up about the location this video was shot, Pea Patch Island, Delaware, Fort Delaware.

Now this is a good one, I've watched about 100 youtube videos tonight and I wasn't expecting to find anything spooky. Found a few docos, a few things for Halloween, not much else, but this has got me excited, it's either really well done or a very convincing ghost video.
The description pretty much reads like any other, you know "me and a few friends... we had a camera... this is not staged" etc. Could very well be staged, but it's dang freaky. The videos shows a young fella talking into the camera and walking past a couple jail cell doors with windows, lucky they did the double take or I would have missed it.

Not a lot of info with this one apart form "espectro en hospital de colombia,, close to the morgue hospital". There's definitely a human shaped figure here, hell it even moves like a human, it also looks to be draped in something, a sheet maybe.
The problem I'm having is that if it is real, it's probably the best ghost footage ever, but there are a few things that make me think it's not real. First the camera quality, looks to be taken from a low quality video camera or even a camera phone, the problem with that is with the amount of image noise seen it's really easy to hide signs of trickery.
Another problem I have is it reminds me a lot of my How to make a fake ghost video video in that it's easy to add a transparent overlay to stable footage, but it's hard adding one to moving footage unless you have the right software, with the video below you only see the figure while the footage is stable.
Then again, they just might not have the luxury of a descent video camera and timing.
This video was taking by a security camera at Kadena Air base in Japan, well kind of, it shows a dark figure that kind of looks like peoples. The dudes who you can hear in the video give the video a good analyzing.
At the very end it does look like the figure is much smaller and closer to the camera than perceived, maybe a bird or bug?
I'd love to know what the focus is like really close to security cameras, I'd imagine it can't be very good.
This video comes from the cameras of a gym located in Kansas, the motion detectors triggered the camera into action and the experts say a bug or dust wouldn't have been able to trigger it, they're stumped to what it may be.
Is it just me or does every single ghost video that makes it to main stream media look exactly like this one, a floating, out of focus smudge caught on a security cam. But what about the motion detector, I have no experience whatsoever with them, but I'd imagine wiggling a finger really close to one could set it off, but like I said I, they're not my forte.
An oldie but a goody. I posted about this video on My Paranormal Life ages ago, but that version wasn't that great, this one however gives us multiple slowed down examples, though the sounds been stripped.
Still don't know if it looks like a ghost train to me, but it is an odd video for sure.
