Been awhile aye, if anybodies still out there. This video is not mine, it does show some of the more famous Sas footage, though it seems to be geared more towards the anticipation of a new piece of footage.
Onto some blog news, at the moment I've just worked out a way to speed up the posting process, though it doesn't mean I'll be back to posting. It used to take me a minimum of 20 minutes just to get the settings straight for a post, partly the reason I stopped blogging here, it was tedious work. I've quietly been getting things in order and now there's no post setup at all, so who knows I could get inspired to start again, though I'm no far removed from the paranormal world it seems like a daunting task to get going again.
Kiwi, Leigh Hart "That Guy" recently wrote an article about his experience at a recent Bigfoot conference held in Ohio. The article pretty much took the mickey out of Bigfoot Researchers and has left quite a few people unimpressed with his antics.
If your in the know as most of us Kiwis are, you'll find that you really can't take Leigh Hart all that seriously, I mean the guy covered the Beijing Olympics for a New Zealand T.V show from L.A.
But if your not in the know I'd imagine an encounter with That Guy would be much like an encounter with Borat, an odd experience, leaving those interviewed wondering wtfs going on and nodding politely.
I'm not making any excuses for my fellow Kiwi, I understand the feeling of being made fun of and how it feels being deceived, but surely he's transparent enough for most people to know he's pulling their leg, he's just quite bold with it.
With that in mind the next few videos illustrate what most of us Kiwis get from That Guy most of the time.

Said to have been filmed just outside of Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park the video shows what looks like bigfoot, a kind of small one.

Haven't seen a Bigfoot video in awhile that wasn't clearly a hoax or next to useless as evidence, not that this one couldn't be both of those.
Titled the Beast of Gum Hill the video shows a man riding an ATV up a river, I would certainly film something like that for sure (I'm not being sarcastic), so I guess it's a natural situation to be filming in, as we get a shot of up the river a dark figure appears and crosses the river, could it be bigfoot.
Howdy, all, hope you've all had a great Christmas and New Years, so busy this time of year and my concept of time gets thrown out the window, I wish I could live like that all year round.
Anyway I've got so many bookmarks backed up, most of it will be old news to most of you, but I thought I'd better post my findings, hopefully I'll have a lot posted today.
Below is said to be the first ever thermal images of Bigfoot, there's a full report of the event over at bfro.net. The most interesting part of the footage is only a couple seconds long, this is when the subject decides to make a run for it and at this point it sure does look like a Bigfoot.
Not conclusive evidence, but the best I've seen in awhile.
The following set of videos is all about the Yowie, the Australian version of Bigfoot, I'd say that if you want to know more about the Yowie these would be a great starting point. The videos come from Paranormal TV which has put together a wide range of short documentaries covering a lot of different areas of the paranormal. All their videos have the same polish and quality as the Yowie doco below and I'm sure I'll be posting a lot more of them.
The ultimate goal for anyone with a prolonged passion for investigating the paranormal, the unexplainable and mysterious is to one day hold forth the evidence that proves that passion, otherwise it's just another religion.
Got nothing against religion, but my dad once told me "whatever you believe in will be true" and I feel that's true of anyone with faith no matter what belief it is, it will be true.
I had high hopes for the Georgia Bigfoot, it would have been world shattering evidence, may have even changed belief systems, hell the crypto world would have been seen in a better light and that may have bled into other areas of the mysterious. It still seemed to make people stand up and take notice, crap about the outcome though.
As it stands, a Bigfoot body will still be the ultimate evidence, so would an alien craft crashed into some inner city environment. The ultimate evidence is something that can be held, passed around, studied and isn't gone in the blink of an eye.
Hard evidence aside, what about photos and video? In my time blogging about the paranormal I can count on one hand the videos and photos that are remarkable and I think are totally genuine, not a lot out of 600 odd blog posts is it. Vids and pics keep things moving and interesting but the amount of fakes out there is becoming a little overwhelming and it's only going to get harder.
I don't deal with photos a lot on my blogs as you may have noticed, mostly due to copyright issues (if they came with embed codes I'd post a lot more) and partly because they're so easy to fake, videos on the other hand had been a lot harder to fake and there wasn't much use for faking them. With the Internet in its video age, software becoming easier and cheaper to use, it's pretty much a matter of if one has time on their hands and a hunger for attention, the result being that video fakes are a dime a dozen and it's to much to investigate.
Just take a look of some cutting edge software headed our way.
Check out what this software dubbed the Photoshop of video can do, "Photoshop of video" that's a frightening concept.
And here we have Emily, don't worry she's only totally computer generated.
Frightening isn't it, just imagine what our governments and media could do with those, well, that's if they don't already have these capabilities.
What about stories and experiences they can be investigated and what not, but with out hard evidence or the experience, on an individual basis they become a case of he said, she said, but compiled together they can be a great source of evidence.
Hard evidence will remain supreme (if it's not a hoax that is), as for vids and pics, well, it's healthy to be skeptical, which doesn't mean dismissive.
Hope that made sense, I also have a habit of not entirely explaining myself entirely, so please don't take offense.
Frickin fart arsing around, but I guess this is what you do when you want maximum exposure, keep everyone wanting more. Full of controversy with enough drama for a T.V movie of the week, hell, I'd watch that.
There's lot's of info presented in the Georgia Bigfoot Press Conference, the back story, what's going to happen next, D.N.A results and a couple pictures, sadly none of it presents what we really want. It's my opinion that the press conference was in aid of fishing for the best offer, Biscardi even mentions that they're hoping to have someone film it "maybe even one of you. Directed towards the reporters". Is this a hoax? there's a lot of opinions online and it really does look like that bigfoot mask, but this story looks to have a long road ahead of it, most think it's a proven hoax but I'm inclined to see it through whatever the outcome.

Just a quick post. I've been following that story of the law enforcement guys who claim to have a body of a bigfoot pretty loosely, awhile back I thought they had admitted to it being all a hoax. Well it seems to have gained some legs and Tom Biscardi appeared on fox news talking about it and invited fox to come and film it, there's also a press conference this Friday I think, where they'll provide some photographic and DNA evidence,
I've really got to catch up on this story from start to finish, so my next post will be all about that.

As usual a video of a sasquatch appears youtube with the bare minimum of info, there is a link but the page is temporarily unavailable. What's different with this video is the Bigfoot is gray in colour.
It seems the general feeling is that video sharing sites such as youtube are next to useless when it comes to video evidence of the strange and unexplainable, well that's the idea I get from who I've been reading and listening to lately. The complaints are all the same "there's not enough info," "the video qualities bad," "who does this uploader think he/she is," I get the feeling if the video isn't directly sent to these people first they'll dismiss it, it feels to me they're getting frustrated with it all and it all feels like a waste of time and it is for the most part, but it does keep it fun and out in the open. Now I know a hell of a lot of videos that appear on sites like youtube are usually hoaxes, but it's my feeling that whenever someone genuinely captures anything unusual on film, the easiest route to show it to the world would be on youtube.
That being said, there's not a lot of info with this video, the qualities not to bad and it's really short ;).
Remember the Romanian Bigfoot Photo and that other video? well it looks like someones up to their old tricks, the creature in the following video looks pretty good, that is until it decides to peek over its shoulder.
