The photo was submitted to the 'ghost' photograph project, the project received around 250 ghostly submissions and the public was invited to comment and vote on what photos they thought were the bee's knees, the castle photo took top spot. You can view the top 10 most voted photos at the link.
One explanation that's being discussed is that the face is actually light shinning on rocks behind the bars of the window and I can really see that as a possibility, good old Pareidolia.
Here's a video about this photo and others that were submitted to the project. The dude reporting is at the castle, it would have been nice if he actually checked out the window where the ghost was photographed, I'm so wondering if there's another window in there or a hole even.
It would be nice to get a good, up-close look at the room.
ReplyDeleteSeems obvious to me that it's a puppet, of the old Punch and Judy variety. No more than a 2 foot high. Possibly with a sad clown face.
ReplyDeletelooks like Judge Judy in there!
ReplyDeleteHehe, does look a little like Judge Judy as well as those puppets, then again Judge Judy also looks like those puppets. What's going on man.
ReplyDeleteA very similar photo has turned up, taken some 30 years before the one above, pretty freaky.

looks like a painting...
ReplyDeletelooks rather fake to me i've seen alot of ghostly images and movies and such and none has looked like an actual person and as clear as this image appears to be...definitely a person or a disturbed clown figure >>>>i agree somewhat to all the other postings here though...lol...i do disagree that figure is definitely hotter than judge judy
