The Grasdorf Plates

So I've actually done a little bit of research into this one, the problem is it's like the story fell of the face of the planet. The three Grasdorf plates, made up of a gold, silver and a bronze plate (discs), measuring about 12 inches in diameter and of very high purity where found 9 or so days after the discovery of a very large crop circle, by a curious dude who stole the things. Later selling them to a collector, who supposedly melted down the gold one and sold it off.

I don't know, I really can't make heads or tales from the information available so I'll link to all the articles I could find.

The Lost Pyramids of Caral - BBC Doco

A BBC documentary exploring the ideas behind what may have caused the dawn of civilization, was it warfare, was it trade, irrigation? Pretty interesting if your into this kind of thing, I can just imagine an idea being passed around the ancient world because it was useful, it helped everyone and made everything so much more easier, cutting out a world of pure survival and providing time for more good ideas.

It's like the internet, if you come up with something that everyone wants, something people feel they'll be better off because of knowing, it will spread across the world in minutes... dang I wish I had an idea like that, I'd be rich.

In the end I guess their conclusion explains a lot of what is wrong with our current civilization.



Just as an aside, if it's long and I watch it, I'll post it and I've got a lot of long ones to watch.

Ancient Technology Lecture by Jason Martell

Interesting lecture by Jason Martell, a guy whose really interested in the ancient world and a possible extraterrestrial connection. The lecture starts of by exploring some "out of place artifacts", ancient technologies and knowledge. It then moves onto how ancient man would have known such things, how their gods could have been aliens and why they thought they were gods. It finishes off with ideas of the Sumerians, the Annunaki and Planet X.

Interesting ideas, saw a few things I hadn't seen before, but the most interesting thing I was introduced to through this lecture was one sentence "astronauts watches slow down in space" or there abouts, never knew that.
