What should I draw next?

I haven't done a lot of drawing in the past year or so, mainly because I take so long, but I've been thinking a lot about a few things I want to do, so before I get to onto them I thought I'd ask y'all what you might like to see.

The first idea is for pretty much a full on comic strip, though when I say comic strip I mean along the lines of Jay Anacleto's pencil work, which will take a very long time to do.

The other idea is to have a series of creature related drawings, you know, bigfoot, chupacabra, shadow people etc, a creature feature. This would likely take a third of the time as the comic strip and probably a lot more useful.

There were a few other ideas, but you know how it goes, ideas come and go before I have to time to get to em.

So what do you guys think, comic strip or creature feature?

  3. That's a cool idea, I've been playing around with similar ideas, I've done a few drawings involving the far side of the moon and some of the out of it theories about it I've read over the years.

I've also been toying with the idea of drawing a hollow earth, seems like that would be quite a challenge to draw.

An extrasolar planet landscape would be so cool and I'd think a real challenge, I'd have to take into account plenty of aspects such as gravity, light etc and making up creatures and features that would likely fit into these environments.

I remember reading something about a planet made of metal awhile ago, have to look that one up again, just seems to out there.

    Cheers Bob, great idea.

  4. It depends mainly on you. I, only 13 can give you some ideas:
-draw some flowers, using only black/white charcoal.
-draw abstract art using oil pastels
    -draw your neighborhood
-sketch your pet when it's sleeping
-go in your local forest and sketch the setting
-work on a mural (that'll keep you busy!) and make a big ideal using that mural, such as "Don't Smoke!"

    Yay!
